Proposed Renderings

The City of Norman contracted with Cabbiness Engineering to provide several conceptual roadway designs of Porter Avenue and Acres Street intersection improvements. The conceptual design included conceptual pavement layouts, drainage improvements, signalized intersection analysis, conceptual utility coordination and subsequent relocations, anticipated right-of-way requirements, development of the associated budgetary cost estimates and documents, with a detailed written report.

 

Three Design Options were Proposed:

  1. Maintain Existing Centerlines - $3,178,550

  2. Offset Centerline - $2,637,730

  3. Roundabout - $3,614,970
